With support, teen entrepreneurs can grow real businesses - and real confidence.

That’s exactly what I’m doing with Custom Corner, a small business I created almost 3 years ago when I was 12 years old that helps to design custom-made products that truly connect with people.

This all started as a school project with PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs , a Canadian charity that empowers kids nationwide with creative and entrepreneurial thinking. Their program didn’t just teach me how to start a business, it transformed how I see the world. They pushed me to approach challenges with creativity, take risks, and step far outside my comfort zone. Thanks to them, I’ve developed an entrepreneurial mindset, stronger public speaking skills, and the confidence to turn my ideas into action. (And trust me, I’ve had a lot of questions along the way and they’ve been there for every single one!)

I started Custom Corner because I was tired of never being able to find items that felt personal to me. Everything looked the same - nothing reflected my personality, my style, or the little things I love.

So I decided to create what I was looking for.

Now, I design glass tumblers, tote bags, makeup bags, bookmarks, and coasters - each one made to feel like it was designed just for you. I want every person who receives something from Custom Corner to feel like they’re holding a piece of joy in their hands. Like they’ve found all the things they love in one product.

Owning a business at any age is hard but its even more hard when you don't actually have any money of your own. I hate taking money from my parents not knowing if I can pay them back anytime soon. They have already helped so much by driving me to my markets, helping me set up, and much more.

I am trying to raise $3,500 to help pay for the initial costs of buying products bases, material, setup displays, and fees such as the market fees, design space fees and much more.
